Love, balloons xoxo started unofficially with a friend’s 50th birthday party in 2018. We wanted to transform the space from everyday to WOW. And then it hit me, balloons! Not a run-of-the-mill, kids-themed balloon combo from a party store, but something cooler, more vibrant and fun. So I got to work, sketching and testing, and created the most awesome balloon installation I could dream up. And then it all took off. Friends started asking me to do balloons for drive-by birthdays, openings, milestone moments…. or just because.

I’ve always loved color and creativity, and that when you combine both, you can create total joy. In college, I studied Studio Art & Art History, before spending 20 years working at MOMA in the Education Department. Most of my work there was with special needs groups, including people in recovery and those with Alzheimers and Autism. My days were filled with making the connection between art, healing and happiness.

In 2020, after spending two years working on love, balloons xoxo as my side hustle, I decided to focus on the business full time. The pandemic brought on the switch and business has been busier than ever with people wanting—in the midst of everything—to create a happy moment and an awesome memory. I love that I can continue to work with color and creativity in a new fun balloon medium—delivering joy, one balloon at a time.
